A-PET-CARE Toxoplasmosis cat & dog test can be performed at home and requires pet’s feces or blood serum sample.
Testing for Toxoplasmosis with feces sample does NOT require any additional equipment.
The test can also be used with pet’s serum sample instead (this will require a centrifuge).
This at-home Toxoplasmosis testing kit does NOT include any blood collection equipment (syringes are NOT included).

HOW TO TEST YOUR CAT OR DOG FOR TOXOPLASMOSIS AT-HOME:
Checking your cat or dog at home for Toxoplasmosis (TOXO Ag) is very simple with our feline / canine test. First, collect your pet’s feces sample. You can also use blood sample (syringes are NOT included in the test), but you will require a centrifuge to separate the blood, as the test only works with blood serum, not whole blood. After you have obtained the sample, just follow the included instructions. From the moment you obtain the sample, the test takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. HOW DOES A-PET-CARE ONE STEP RAPID TEST KIT FOR TOXOPLASMA IN CATS AND DOGS WORK:
A-PET-CARE One Step Toxoplasmosis test for cats and dogs is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay (LFIA). The test device has a testing window. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When the sample is applied into the S (sample) hole of the device, the liquid will laterally flow along the surface of the test strip. If there is enough Toxoplasma Gondii antigen in the sample, a visible T band will appear in the window. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, indicating a valid result. This means, the testing device accurately indicates the presence or absence of Toxoplasma Gondii antigen in the sample.

The test results are ready in 5-10 minutes.
